Self-adhesive Non slip treads for showers, also called as non slip shower strips, are commonly used on bathtubs and showers to create a strong non slip surface on flat slippery surfaces. With great adhesion, slip resistance and water resistance, non slip treads help preventing fall accidents on wet places.

How to Apply Non Slip Shower Treads?

1. Clean the surface thoroughly and keep the area dry. It is recommended to wipe off dust and oil with isopropyl alcohol patch. (For porcelain, steel and cast- iron tubs or stairs, clean the surface with non-abrasive scouring powder and warm water. For fiberglass, ABS and other plastic tubs or stairs, clean the surface according to manufacturer’s instructions. Warning: do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners to prepare surface for the non slip treads will not adhere properly.)


2. Do not peel off the backing paper yet. Arrange treads with the backing in place to determine ideal positioning. It is suggested that treads be at least one to two inches apart for better surface coverage.


3. Peel off the backing paper one at a time and stick the treads to the intended position. Press firmly to force out any air bubbles.


4. As all treads are applied, leave them and keep them away from water for at least 24 hours.
