How to Repair Vinyl Pools?
1. Locate the rip or tear in vinyl liner. Clean the area around the rip. Lightly sand the area surrounding the rip.
2. Cut a vinyl patch into a circle or an oval shape, which should be longer and wider than the rip but a bit smaller than the sanded area.
3. Use a glue applicator to apply a thin layer of repair adhesive to the sanded area. Wait for 1 to 3 minutes, then take the vinyl patch and stick it onto the rip area.
4. Press the patch firmly onto the liner, starting from center and then all over the area to force out all the air in between.
5. Allow 12 to 24 hours to fully dry.
