| Method of Application: | Apply with a plastic or metal scraper |
| Instruction: | How to use silicone sealant? 1. Be sure to use silicone sealant with adequate ventilation. 2. Before applying sealant, make sure the surface is clean and dry, free of dust, dirt and oil. It is recommended to wipe off the work area with alcohol patch. 3. Apply proper amount of sealant to the surface. Squeeze the tube steadily and evenly. 4. Use a scraper to spread the sealant evenly. 5. Allow the sealant to dry. It might take up to 48 hours to cure if the work area is large. |

| BRIEF INTRODUCTION |
Silicone grease is a waterproof grease that has a very thick body and doesn't dissolve in water. It helps provide a good seal to prevent water leaks and also functions well to inhibit the formation of rust and reduce friction. Applications of silicone grease include electrical, automotive, plumbing, marine and many more.
Food safe silicone grease is used for all brands of water filter housing O-rings and all reverse osmosis system O-rings. It prevents leaks and improves sealing of O-rings. Applications of small packets of silicone grease also include moving parts of tattoo machine, brewing unit of coffee machine, threads of water-submersible flashlights, pistons in pipette, stack joints in ultrasonic welders, stabilizer contact points of keyboard, just to name a few.
Shin Dorn offers re-packaging services for Brugarolas® food grade silicone greases that are rated H-1 by USDA/NSF for incidental food contact.
